Gabby Disappointed By Baggies Draw

Gabby Agbonlahor has said everybody in the team was disappointed at not taking all three points from Albion last weekend, but coming out of the bottom three again was a big boost.

Not much of a boost really is it, had some players performed as per their wages a bit more often and not just the first half against Albion, we'd have never dropped into the bottom three would we have really, and the loss of two points wouldn't have been 'heartbreaking.'

Anyway, commenting on the Official Site Agbonlahor said:

'We were disappointed, you go away from home and score two goals, you expect to win the game. I think we've only got ourselves to blame.'

Agreed.

'It was heartbreaking for the whole team, in the way we played and the chances we created, we should've scored more. To get out of the bottom three is a big thing. We will take the positives and look forward to the Bradford game now.'

Gabby also had plenty of praise for Charles N'Zogbia who possibly put in his best ever performance since joining our wage bill, hoping we matched his ambitions to be in Europe - so maybe it'll be the first of many where he matches our ambitions for a performance on the pitch:

'Full credit to Charles, he showed great vision to put it through to me. But I thought we looked good all round in the first half. The whole team played well, which was promising. Hopefully we can take that form into Bradford.'

There's no hopefully about it. We simply have to. No excuses, the players not only have to atone for the first leg for their own self pride, they owe the fans.

There is no way we will keep a clean sheet tonight. :(

Look at it as a point against a top eight side that is a gain. You might just find that point is the kick start you need.
