Vlaar Back In Action
As long as the Albion game takes place tomorrow, Ron Vlaar should be back in the starting line up after being declared fit for the game.
Speaking to the Official Site ahead of the game Lambert said that Vlaar was definitely back in contention, and he also welcomed back Darren Bent and Richard Dunne to training today as well.
'Ron is ok for tomorrow. He's come through this week, he's been fine. It's important to have him back, he will be a major plus. The only thing he's lacking is match fitness. Darren will train today hopefully. We will monitor him a bit, look how Darren is feeling. We have three games in a week so I'll have to see how he's feeling. Richard will train today which is great news. Hopefully Richard has been cured and Darren can get back quickly.'

Has to be good news doesn't it Mike? In fact the sooner Richard Dunne is alongside Ron in the centre of that defence, then very much the better. As for Darren Bent, a starting place has to be found for him too. Enough of this nonsense Mr Paul Lambert. Lets utilise these three older/wiser heads, and give some serious thought to giving Warnock a game at left full back also. In the absence of new arrivals, overlooking anyone who we are paying good money to is ludicrous. All hands to the pump now. The situation calls for a change of direction, because what we are currently attempting, is quite clearly not working.

Concrete is back, good timing as we try to turn this around. Not sure how Dunny monster will play alongside Ron but worth a try so long as he is fit (Dunne). Gabby on the wing and two up front, whether that's Benteke, Weimann or Bent.

Good news indeed. Gabby is no winger 1969, on the bench at best for him. Definately bring Warnock back though.

Pride, maybe not but hey whatever works best and his pace helps cos he aint no striker either. Warnock is a donkey and not needed, sorry to disagree. Many wanted him out of the team along with Hutton.

Warnock was "not good enough" for the rest of the team we had, and he had deteriorated since O Nearly brought him in (first two seasons he did OK though). The problem is - what else we have is even less good enough. Everything is relative my friend. I would trust now too that he has something to prove, hoping to have at least 2-3 seasons more in the game. Hutton I would never have back - rather play with ten men.
