Unoial Villa News...

Villa Yam Yam says: Lack of leadership is killing Villa I'm not going to go over the embarrassment of the recent run of results as that has been done to death. Like every other Villa fan, I'm frankly ashamed of those performances. As a season ticket holder I've been to every home game this season, and with the possible exception of Reading, we are the worst side I've seen. See: Lack Of Leadership Is Killing Villa

heavy d says: I thought this in August so this is not being smart after the fact. Lambert spent Premiership transfer money (not wages, but fees) to ultimately assemble a squad of lower Championship quality. Many believe this approach was dictated to him by Lerner but it was obvious the money could have been spent more wisely. How much was spent on Lowton and Bennett? According to reports this varies between £6.5-8million. The view being to sell players for a profit and remain in the black. Benteke aside, would we get the money we paid back for any of these signings let alone make a profit? See: Aston Villa Football Club - A RANT

So, well, I didn`t expect to be asking this at this stage of the season I have to be honest. Things are obviously not going well and blame is being pointed all over the place including our new manager. So, albeit with reticence, I guess we`ll have to ask in the poll. Should Paul Lambert resign/be sacked. See: Click Here

Lambert needs to shoulder the blame for his acquisitions. Bennett isn't ready and lowton is average at best. No better than Hutton and less presence. As for al elhamody, yet to see a decent performance, Delph is a better player. MOTM against Southampton and is food for thoughts over playing bannan. I'd rather see Clark in midfield. Not sure he can lead a line yet.!
