Just me or is this time mad? All day for fans to be drinking before kick off (and I'm not sure if I mean on or off the pitch for kick off!

Good point Witton. Utter madness for the sake of TV armchair ghouls who want to see us lose big time again.

I think any die hard fans can be forgiven for giving this game a miss...recent form, its on TV, ridiculous day/time considering the neanderthal Millwall fans.

By the time this game comes around Lambert will have bought this Experience bloke that all the pundits keep linking us with, not sure who he plays for... either way based in London this fixture is a 10min train ride for me, i'll go on my own by the sound of it, in my villa colours, watch us get an average result then get beat up on the way home. Love the Villa!

I know the "true fans" should support the team in games like this, no matter what. But given the lack of investment in the team in recent times, why the HELL would any fan spend yet more hard earned cash travelling to London to watch our youth team being humiliated again? It was 8-0 last time we went to London and, although this is Millwall, they are in a league above Bradford (which means the result could realistically be worse than last night). I'm really sorry for being so negative, but after the month we've had can anyone blame me? WHERE ARE THE SIGNINGS TO GIVE US A MUCH NEEDED LIFT??

Millwall lads are not as bad as portrayed in my experience. They don't like other London clubs but they appreciate the game and have no beef with us. Friday night is not for football matches though ffs.

Villan444.... my memory recalls a long time ago Villa and Millwall did have a number of set-to's. Happy days.....

Read Danny's book - there is history. Which is why a lot of people are bottling it. Theyre a bit like Cornish wreckers - in that they are not known for luring you in and picking you off away from home (unless you count across London as 'away').

Bear in mind we have an extremly tough game on the tuesday, this is an absolutely ridiculous fixture change by any stretch of the imagination.. I would like to know who in the club actually sanctioned the change of day and time to bring the maximum inconvenience to both attending fans and players alike...
