Villa Linked With Danny Graham?

Villa Linked With Danny Graham?

Talksport are suggesting that Paul Lambert will use most of his available funds on a £12million bid for Swansea's Danny Graham.

The 27 year old striker is also being linked with Reading and Sunderland this window, and of course the link is made that we don't score enough goals.

The major interest for me seems to be that if Lambert will spend most of his funds ie £12million, then what happened to all the know-how saying he only had £10million?

I'm pretty sure that even if we are targeting Graham, not a chance in hell would we pay anything like £12m. I'd be gutted to pay any more than about a third I'd that!

Mike forget the debate on is it £10 million or £12million the simple fact is IF this story has any credit and substance to it im going to cry myself into a deep deep sleep and will only awake when this nightmare is over and i ain;t feckin jokin dude, NO WAY is Graham worth £12 million hey i wouldn't spen a million on him, he misses sitter after sitter thats why Laudrup dropped him to the bench, he can'r score in a team that create chance after chance where we do not create many at all! (RANT OVER)!

Second what Clive has said. 12M when you have Bent on the Bench and only paid 6.5 for Benteke. Prefer it if they'd spend 12m on a couple of midfielders.

If we blow 12m on Graham we mayaswell pack up now and surrender to the championships. Having a -24 goal difference and going for a Striker who is no better than what we have got doesn't make sense...spend it on a defender, waste of money and time. I expect it to be talk sport *********.

Think all our money needs to go on defenders and midfielders if we keep Bent and I really hope we do(still the best finisher at the club) I think the forward line is good. We also have two great keepers. What we need is a center back, left back and a quality midfielder who can create chances. I believe we have the forwards already they just need the chances. UTV

forget strikers. we have bent, gabby, bentekke and an in form wiemann. that strike force is good...... we need midfielders. spend the doe on midfield. van persie wouldnt score in our team cus we wouldnt be able to get the ball to him. our midfield is a joke. no width. no creativity. no drive. no heart. nothing. westwood being the only shining light.

Seek solace in 2 facts... one its from talksport and .... two, how many media outlets foresaw any of PL's summer signing before they happened ....let alone how much we were prepared to pay... Danny Graham is a decent striker adjusted to the Prem but £3m at most
