Lambert - You Win Nothing For A Semi

Lambert - You Win Nothing For A Semi

It's good job I know you lot are clean minded as otherwise I'd worry about that headline - even if I agree.

Speaking to the press ahead of our semi final double header against Bradford, a single sentence from Paul Lambert said everything:

'We haven't achieved anything yet - you don't get anything for a semi-final.'

The boss also told the Official Site.

'I know what it's like. The Bradford lads will give everything and more than probably normal because the adrenaline will be high. But we haven't done anything yet. It's a semi-final and it's another stage to try and get through. I don't want to overplay it thinking we've done, we're arrived. We've got another two games to get through. On any given night anything can happen, underestimate Bradford at your peril. But if we do things right and do what we have been doing then hopefully we'll get through.'

The worst Villa team in my 41 years of support, the worst manager since Venglos, disgusting performance for a semi final in the cup, Bent should have been on from the beginning , I cannot believe the tactics 433 at an away 1st leg
