Lescott Rules Out Loan Move

Lescott Rules Out Loan Move

Joleon Lescott's agent has said the player has no intention of leaving on loan during the transfer window.

The statement reads:

'Joleon Lescott has ruled out the possibility of any loan move during the January transfer window. Despite speculation linking him with several Premier League clubs, Joleon has no desire to leave Manchester City.'

At least we are being linked with the right sort of players though.

Hardly surprising really. Wants to sit on the bench at Cit£h and possibly collect another medal that he can show to his grandkids and lie about his contribution. What are our chances on signing Forren? He looks excellent.

Maybe he's trying to force a payoff to get rid. I'm sure he'd rather be playing. Spurs had Adebayor for a season and they paid a fraction of his wages before they had to let him go for peanuts....

I was at the game today and on the way home me and the boys were chatting about the waste of talent just sitting on the bench collecting cash at city, Milner was the main one that came up, it's such a shame the way football really is and the fact that unless we offer huge wages the likes of lescott won't even bat an eye lid at his boyhood club, I agree it's nice to be linked with top players be interesting to see who we do attract realistically.

How long has he got left on his contract??? Nastasic is awful so he must've fallen out with Mankini and David Twaaat

No idea how long he's got, agreed nastastic is terrible, judging by this weeks footage don't think it's that difficult to fall out with Mancini haha

A good proportion of his goals have been scored against Villa and he always seemed to enjoy scoring them. I always felt he had a chip on his shoulder about Villa so this link with us purely on the basis he grew up a Villa fan is classic press gob****ery.

Is there still a chink of light? Quite clearly a loan has been ruled out, but perhaps, just perhaps, a permanent transfer ?.......

I might quote that 'Nastasic is terrible' line in two years when hes one of the best defenders in the world. I think he will eventually be as good as Kompany. Shame we couldn't get Lescott though, unless City get another CB in they won't let him leave permanently
