Lazio Youngster On Lambert's Radar?

Lazio Youngster On Lambert's Radar?

Well this is another left field link, Luis Pedro Cavanda's agent has said Villa are following his client 'with interest'.

Speaking to LaLazioSiamoNoi.it (required reading you understand) his agent admitted they would be meeting with Lazio to discuss the Belgium U21 international's future, and he implied he did have potential options away from the club:

'Next week we will meet with Lazio. We want to plan his future. Currently there are no official offers, but some interest is always pleasing, especially when you're young and start to play regularly. Which clubs have turned their spotlight on Luis? Several. Aston Villa, for example, are following him with interest.'

Cavanda came through Lazio's youth ranks and has apparently established himself as a regular this season following loan spells at Torino and Bari previously.

Obviously, with a meeting planned with Lazio, it could also just be an agent talking his client up to strengthen their position in the meeting, it wouldn't be the first time would it.

Never heard of the young man, but this ignorant individual had never heard of Christian Benteke either. Lots of links, lots of rumours, let us all hope that by the end of the month, there has been lots of transer activity to truly enthuse over. There has to be.

Certainly fits in with Lamberts' requirements; young, hungry and no experience in the PL.....Lol
