Scott Sinclair On Loan? AVFC Transfer Talk

Nothing too hot at the moment with reference to transfers, I saw this one yesterday but didn`t think it worthy of an article on its own....

Sky Sports 'understands` that Villa, Reading and Fulham are all watching Charlton midfielder, YES, CHARLTON... sensation Bradley Pritchard.

He joined them from non league in 2011 and has impressed apparently.

Apparently the Italian press have linked Villa with 20-year-old Danish defender Frederik Sorenson. Wiki says he plays for Bologna but is part owned by Juventus.

Looks like he can cover most positions in defence so would bring options.

If you look at the wiki link though, he`s not very experienced, he`s only played 17 times for Juventus and 13 times (albeit with two goals!) for Bologna.

Still, we don`t need experience at all do we?!

Talksport have apparently said that Villa are looking to loan Scott Sinclair. Forum thread: Click Here

A short snippet in the Birmingham Mail says that Stephen Warnock is being considered by several Premiership clubs including West Ham. And so he should be, despite what some say, he isn`t 'that` bad and actually according to Opta made the most interceptions last season. Bolton would also like him back. Personally think the way he has been treated is pathetic but I`m in the minority I know.

Perhaps Lambert read my posts about bringing him in on loan a few weeks ago. Im glad he reads my posts and listens to me. I am full of useful advice.

I can't imagine Tottenham letting Scott Parker go out on loan. He's just coming back from injury and I'm sure most top Prem teams would have him in their starting 11.

Agree with Deano reference Warnock. Him, Dunne and Hutton in a taxi to somewhere permanent asap.

If Parker, then yes please gods of football, yes please!!! But it will take some kind of rift in the space time continuum of football for spurs to let go. Please say he has fallen out with AVB. Please. On my knees as I type.

Though Scott Parker would be a brilliant signing for you. I think we would be crazy to let him go. he remains an outstanding player and with Europe and two domestic competitions, still to play for, we need a player of his quality and experience. saying that, What about Tom Huddlestone for you?

Id have Huddlestone Iv always liked him not too sure he is what we need tho...

MY MISTAKE. Sinclair, not Parker. Not well, should leave this stuff to someone with half a brain cell left.

Couldnt agree more on Warnock Fear. I'm ashamed of the way he's been treated. We as fans expect loyalty from players (I'm not sure we do anymore...?) but seem to think its perfectly acceptable when they get none from the club!? I will say that if that Petrov thing is true it paints it in a slightly different light though. As for Parker - YES. Huddlestone - NO. Not what we need.

Huddlestone is big enough normally but the Harvey Price lookalike will be worse than ever post Xmas and being sat on the bench for donkeys!!!! Lampard from Chelsea has got to be worth a few mil on a 6 month deal. Model professional and would give untold experience to the Yoots. Would potentially suit both parties.

Scott Parker/ Scott Sinclair easy mistake to make... I suppose this could easily end up as former Chelsea player Frank Sinclair. At least he has experience. might be 41 but he is still playing ;-)

Opta dont have a stat for it but for needless fouls Warnock is one of the worst in the league even Bennett and Lichaj dont do that... PL is right to bomb those who shall not be named IMO the last two seasons are proof enough for me... I use to think Hutton was decent but then he put on the shirt rubbish! Dunne is great when his back is against the wall and Collins was the same... Warnock has a lot of determination about him but his decision making and positional sense are questionable... Id prefer to persist with Bennett than Warnock at Bennett is decent going forward, quick and can only improve... Id have Sinclair but we better through in a buyout option in if we loan him, Lampard would do a job but he wont sign for us no chance... Id prefer us to be looking at continental Europe for players rather than the Championship because bringing in some real quality will help raise our young players game and because we simply need players of a certain standard... France and Germany are good markets to get guys at a reasonable price Toulouse have any number of promising players with quality...

Hey if we am starting to name parker's what about that thinderbirds parker he should be experianced enuff, sinclair would be ideal tbh he has pace and can score which our midfielders do not do so yes to sinclair yes to parker and yes to any player who scores goals or defends well, Warnock Dunne Hutton can go and catch that taxi Grizzly is kindly offering to pay for ;)

I actually genuinely felt sorry for warnock when I watched the friendly at Forest.... his conidnce was shot to pieces and to be fair to lambert and the backroom staff the stick SW got that day was pretty horrific to say the least. maybe it is just best for all parties concerned to move on. As for Scott Sinclair.... no thanks would prefer Trevor Sinclair and he must be 50 !

Scott Sinclair is a non starter he has already played for Swansea and Man city this season and the rules state that a player can not turn out for more than 2 clubs.

Sinclair has been registered with Swansea and Man City already in the 2012/13 season. Can't be registered with 3 teams in the same season so this is a non starter. It appears that the common wisdom of getting some experienced heads in to guide the youth is being cast aside. Pritchard and Stephens from Charlton both being mentioned. Apparently Lambert feels half a season in the Championship, playing for a side that is as many points from relegation as they are from the play-offs i.e. mediocre, prepares you for the Prem then? He tried the scatter gun approach in August and we ended up with a large number of players without adequate quality. Are we simply going to throw good money after bad?

Just to clear this up: the Sinclair 2 clubs thing is per calendar year, not per season, so a loan now would be quite alright. I'd welcome it. The more quality the better. So long as we have signed a centre-back in time for Southampton.

I want to know what experience means to people because all it means to me is 150/200+ career league games which to me means nothing... and I have a feeling thats what Lambert thinks of when people mention Dunne et al. coming back into the team because they have experience... What use is that without quality because thats all I want... Experience and hundreds of games mean nothing to me if they cant play... Obviously we arnt going to find a huge amount of quality in Championship we may get the odd lad of course but one the best talents in the Champo Snodgrass went to Norwich... Arguably the two best players left in that league (Saha and Ince) are players we wont take a chance on but maybe wouldnt sign for us anyway...

From Fifa - "Players may be registered for a maximum of three clubs during the period from 1 July until 30 June of the following year. During this period, the player is only eligible to play in Official Matches for two clubs. As an exception to this rule, a player moving between two clubs belonging to associations with overlapping seasons (i.e. start of the season in summer/autumn as opposed to winter/spring) may be eligible to play in official matches for a third club during the relevant season, provided he has fully complied with his contractual obligations towards his previous clubs. Equally, the provisions relating to the registration periods (article 6) as well as to the minimum length of a contract (article 18 paragraph 2) must be respected." - In summary, as Sinclair has played for both Swansea and Manchester City during the period 01/07/2012 and 31/06/2013 he is eligible to play for a 3rd club, but only if that club has a season which runs contrary to that of the first two clubs. He could play for a team in Scandanavia but certainly not another EPL team. Mascherano played for Corinthians, Wet Spam and Liverpool in the same year and this was allowed because the Brazilian season doesn't run parallel with ours. God I'm boring!!!

I agree with you on most things Fear but we all poles apart on Warnock. His interceptions don't make up for all the other things he just does so, so badly. I've also heard from more than one person that's closer to the club than I about his attitude, negative things he's had to say about the club and I can't wait to see the back of him.

to be fair, I was happy for him to be bombed out, think he is one of the dunne/collins click who wasn't too bothered, just don't really see why they have to be humiliated and put with the kids when a new manager comes in. But then, I think many of the managers are egotistic morons to be fair, not nice people at all and maybe they have to have that trait to do their job (or in some of our cases, not do their job). Just on a human level, can never see why managers have to be suck tits to players they no longer want. Just try to deal with things with a bit more dignity.

Oscar my dude you're starting to sound as dumb as your username Bennett is faster than the average EPL player so yeah he does have pace and therefore is quick... As many people here will tell you I suppose what one might call quick is subjective but for me if you're faster than someone like Smalling or Kosielny then yeah you are quick... He's no Bale or Walcott but he is prob quicker than every other player on the team bar Gabby... As for Enda good defender and competent going forward in the end it doesnt matter neither is quite good enough to start anyway... MadIrish might be a bit mad too it seems that Downing is finding a small bit of form and starting a few games I would doubt pool will let him go however PL wouldnt have him anyway doesnt fit his criteria...

CD-Eire. I have watched Bennett since he came and almost every wide player he has come up against went past him like he wasn't there. I suppose you are quoting stats or something but that means little on the pitch. Bobby Moores first yard was in his head, Bennetts seems to be in another part of his anatomy.
