Youngest Ever Prem Villa Side Face Swansea

Paul Lambert has made three changes and is putting out the youngest Premiership side Villa have ever had.

Westwood is back in and replaces Ireland, for some reason Fabian Delph is in, thus replacing Bannan and Enda Stevens replaces Lichaj.

Team:

Guzan,

Lowton, Clark [c], Bennett, Herd,

Albrighton, Delph, Stevens, Westwood,

Benteke, Weimann

Subs: Given, Ireland, Holman, Bowery, Bannan, Lichaj.

SWANSEA: Vorm, Davies, Rangel, Chico, Williams [c], Britton, De Guzman, Hernandez, Michu, Routledge, Graham. Subs: Tremmel, Dyer, Monk, Ki, Agustien, Tiendalli, Schecter.

Im assuming its Bennett at LM and Stevens at LB... I bet on a Villa win wonder how silly a move that will be later tonight...

Good to see Stevens in, I hope he has a good game, he hasn't really let us down when he's played. Apart from that... it's clutching straws and I would be clutching a four leafed clover if I'd got one.......

4-0 Swansea? Quite shocked that we've gone for an even more inexperienced side.

Flabbergasted at Lambert's team and setup. He is either a genius or a complete fool. Shipping goals and even scraping out of letting in a shed-full because of luck will not build confidence. These kids will be crushed. I am praying that I am wrong, and I'm an atheist.

"For some reason Fabian Delph is in" mainly because he's the best we've got alongside Westwood.

Jordan Bowery on for Albrighton (who is a capable defender) on 84 mins after we go into a 2-1 lead.......is that designed to push for a 3 or 4-1 lead, or what ?? We had Ireland or even Lichaj on the bench, but no, we go with three attackers after we have spawned our way into a lead.

In the win, lose, draw poll I had us down for a win - yes, rather optimistic of me, but figured our luck had to change at some point. Was gobsmacked to see us actually go in front to be honest. Too bad we couldn't hold on to the end. Was disappointed in Holman when he came on - he doesn't seem to be working as hard at closing down when he comes on as a sub. He was jogging pretty slowly into position during the Swans attack that brought about their equalizer.

Another two years of this administration and the days we had a side with an average age of 23 will seem like happy memories, next year a teenage average, year after that children
