Mystic Mug Gives Optimism The Sack!!

Mystic Mug for now has gone solo as Lawro hasn`t done his predictions for New Years Day games yet. I`ll add his if he does them later.

As for Mystic, he tried optimism again, this time v Wigan, and says he`ll not get fooled again! Lawro also got it wrong, he said a draw v Wigan (Mystic said a Villa win)

This time, he`s going for a 2-0 loss to Swansea and says happy new year to you all.

What say you? Leave your predictions in the article comments and get voting on the win/lose/draw poll (bottom right of site)

Lawro has now added his prediction and it is the same as Mystic Mugs, 2-0 to Swansea.

3-1 defeat I'm afraid...the law of averages says we have to score eventually.

Draw or late winner for Villa 1-1 or 1-0... PL has a record against Swansea and we are due some points and a goal... Many dont believe in 'due a win/point/goal' but fellas thats how you win last man standing competitions in gambling ;)... Plus we need some real optimism round here we are all hurting but when your own fans can only see a lose well that translates to the players... Its a pity we had to play Spurs and Wigan at home if either were away games I think we would have done better...
CDX_EIRE
I'll take a draw, we have to address the confidence issue and a cleansheet would do the world of good.
mike_field
Of course its going to a loss. We are worse than qpr.
PiperUK
We'll win 2-1. Looking forward to the trip/game. Hopefully we'll begin 2013 in some style, and with three very valuable and much needed points.
glensider
Hope you are right Glensider, but I can only see a steady improvement. 2-0 to Swansea.
