'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RIP Vaclav Drobny

Villa have unfortunately announced that former loan signing Vaclav Drobny died earlier today in a sledding accident.

Drobny joined the Villa from Racing Strasbourg on a seasons' long loan and at the time he was highly rated for the future, especially after impressing David O'Leary during a trial. However it never quite worked for him and he didn't make a single appearance for the club, although he did play his part in the second string as they finished runners up in the reserve league.

RIP Drobny, and our thoughts are with your family especially at this time of the year.
