Just as long as you avoid taking this to penalties, you couldnt have a better chance of a trip to wembley

Brings back good and bad memories of previous games. The name of Cecil Podd unfortunately remains engrained on my mind, after he scored their only goal in the 1 -0 win for BC on my only visit to Valley parade (in the old 3rd Division in 1970-1 season). Happier but nailbiting memories was the reverse scoreline at Villa Park in the 86-7 season, a crucial last home game which clinched our play-off place, and meant we still had an outside chance of automatic promotion. The rest, as they say, is history. (JF - testing, testing, back on line, thanks)

Remember Cecil Podd only too well...I do remember going there toward the end of the Third Division 1971-2 season... Charlie Aitken got the winner in a game that virtually clinched promotion back to Division Two..Problem was that there was a rail strike on, and probably only about 1,500 Villa fans made it up there (at that time we were taking over EVERY ground we went to with a massive following of minimum 4,000)..It was a really hairy experience..Bradford fans were out in real force, and anything in claret and blue was a target! Thank goodness times have changed!! Still look back on that period as one of my most enjoyable times as a Villa fan though.
