AVFC Press Transfer Talk - A Loan & A Striker?

AVFC Press Transfer Talk - A Loan & A Striker?

Few bits today.

The Daily Star say that Villa are after Crystal Palace striker Glenn Murray who is apparently rated at around £1million.

Bolton also want him.

The 29-year-old has 20 goals in 18 games and has only 18 months left on his current deal.

Meanwhile, The Telegraph says that we want to LOAN (NOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!) Manchester City`s Swedish striker John Guidetti.

*Shudders*

Wish they would change the rules back so that Premier League clubs can`t loan other Prem players. Just seems wrong to me.

I digress.

Apparently the 20-year-old striker is wanted for the rest of the season.

Without an option to buy, you would have to ask why wouldn`t you? He is rated at Man City, so we take him, prove him good enough, he goes back there and is ready to go to their first team?

Ouch... not nice. Was bad enough having Kyle Walker knowing we couldn`t keep him.

He scored 20 in 23 appearances for Feyenoord last season.

The paper also says that Lambert has been told he will have funds for the transfer window.
