12th ...... UTV

11th-15th is a fair assessment and if we can build from our recent performances possibly higher. After the start we had I would just be pleased to stay up and hopefully the young lads can get much needed experience and push on next season.

18th

I said top 10 at the start of season but given the start to the season top 14 would be decent season for us... If we continue this form top 10 is not out of the realm of possibilities... Il settle for 14th and the League Cup...
CDX_EIRE
Still in the Premiership I'd hope......
Pride of Lions
Top half plus the Capital One Cup. That would be absolute best.

Delighted with Lamberts progress dont need to put any pressure on if we do 14th or above will be content anything more is a bonus. Avoiding injuries will be important the back 4 are putting in cracking performances at the moment.

Who knows truthfully?...If teams sit back then we are going to have problems..aka Stoke (Reading even tho we won) etc. Then we have a lot of improving to do because even tho last week was great we could of just as easily lost those games with the amount of chances both Norwich and Liverpool spurned..

@ were not fickle are you a bluenose? if you are ***** off our forum and if you claim to be a villa fan then your not a proud villian what real fan backs his club to go down?! now to all the real villa fans i read sturridge is leaving chelsea for liverpool what you reckon lads should be try and get him he is a villa fan too?
black_villian
fickle you have really *****ed me off you checky git are you really trying to say that Wigan, Southampton,QPR and Reading are better than us? as there is NO WAY any of those team will finish above us this season if you are a villian fan then i apologize to fear i dont like slagging off fellow villians but what he said us finishing 18th is bang out of order !!!!
black_villian
15th-17th for me if there are no quality signings in Jan. I think QPR may start to climb out of it. Reading I cannot see surviving. Saints too. Wigan always improve towards the end and Martinez knows how to avoid the drop. So the third team to go will be ....er.... hmmm. I guess I better be wrong about QPR then. Touch and go for me this season. Those last buttock-clenching 8 or so games are no place for a team of kids. We better be well clear by then please.

Take out from the mix the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Reading, and I believe, based on what I have seen to date this season, that you are left with sixteen clubs very much of a muchness. Any team from that pack of sixteen, is capable of beating any other team from the group on any given weekend, without eyebrows being raised, or headlines appearing claiming that a major shock has taken place. With that in mind, I think we are quite capable of finishing as high as eighth, or on the other hand as low as sixteenth. I'll say we'll achieve mid-table respectability, between 10th and 12th. As for domestic cups? Cant predict. It all depends on the luck of the draw. Form and logic goes out the window.

Don't take the bate black_villan, Birmingham will be heading to league one before they get back to the prem, so ignore bitter bluenoses. I think we will finish 9th or 10th and that would be a great platform to build upon. Add a league cup win and it would be a successful season. Can't wait to see what gems Lambert discovers in Jan! black_villan calm down! So Im not entitled to have an opinion? I dont want us to finish 18th you fool, I just fear the worse with the current inexperienced squad.

I realised why I stopped bothering online as soon as you dare have opinion that may be controversial you are called a bluenose. Pathetic
