Mystic Bounces Back With Shock Win Prediction

Mystic Bounces Back With Shock Win Prediction

No surprise here, Lawro has told BBC Sport that Liverpool will beat Villa 2-0 at the weekend.

The BBC pundit says that Liverpool are going through a 'decent spell` and that Brendan Rodgers has a 'settled team`.

And on us, "Aston Villa had a great win over Norwich in the Capital One Cup in midweek, and not just for the fact it was Paul Lambert's first time back to Carrow Road since leaving in the summer. The result itself and the fact they are in the semi-finals now is a big lift, especially considering their league position. Villa will be competitive at Anfield - I don't think there is any doubt about that - but they are probably going there just at the wrong time, just as Liverpool are starting to play well."

Aston Villa 0 - 0 Stoke
Q.P.R. 1 - 1 Aston Villa
Aston Villa 1 - 0 Reading
Aston Villa 0 - 0 Arsenal
Man City 5 - 0 Aston Villa
Aston Villa 2 - 3 Man Utd

West Ham 2 - 3 Liverpool
Liverpool 1 - 0 Southampton
Spurs 2 - 1 Liverpool
Swansea 0 - 0 Liverpool
Liverpool 3 - 0 Wigan
Chelsea 1 - 1 Liverpool

Mystic Mug is going to shock you now.....! He says 2-0 to the Villa. Yup, he`s been relatively miserable this season (well, realistic) and is still losing to Lawro and has a funny feeling about this particular game. If we get at Liverpool`s defense, there are goals to be had.

Get in there!

Oh, don`t get too excited, Lawro is winning 7-3

If Lawro had been right on his predictions, we would be 18th, if Mystics had been right, we`d be on 17 points and 14th. So maybe Mystic hasn`t been that miserable after all...!

I think our forward line is starting to get there, the Stoke game was what it was with them putting 10 men behind the ball and trying to lump it diagonally. Liverpool will try and play the right way as Rogers demands and it will leave them open to attack. With a bit of luck Benteke, Weiman and hopefully Holman will get chances and score a couple. They aren't mugs though so it will be tight. 2-1 to us hopefully or maybe 2-2 if 'we know what you are' Parrot Fish Face is on form. UTV

The bookies have Liverpuddle at 2 to 5 on. That's a silly price: Villa to win.

We're going to win. 1v3. Downing the score hat trick of Own Goals then beg to come back lol. But really I can't see us losing. Maybe a draw but 1v3 or 0v1 please. 1point would be good but 3 would be great! These 3 games are easier then the other 3 we had.

Im going for a draw here, 1-1 this game we will have to be up for it, this is going to be a difficult game, but one we can get something out of if we play and fight like we have in recent games! UTV!

I'm going with a 1-2, I think we'll carry the confidence over from the league cup.

Let us not kid ourselves, we are in for a stern test, a very tough ninety minutes. As of right now I'll be delighted if we can return to Brum with a point. They are not the team they were, but they are no mugs. They possess top notch talent throughout their team, and we'll have to be at the top of our game to upset them in their own backyard.

Agree with Glensider, it's gonna be tough. Liverpool play decent football, but they're like us, they rely on one player to score the goals mainly. I'd love to say we'll win, but for me it's a competitive 2-1 to Liverpool.
