Villa (And Others) Linked With A Man Mountain

Ah, the first Sky Sports 'understands` of the season!

Makes me chuckle...!

Anyway, Villa, along with Newcastle, WBA, Norwich and Reading, are apparently interested in Osasuna`s 6ft 4inch defensive midfielder Raoul Loe.

Apparently the club are in financial trouble and might need to cash in on the man mountain!

Never heard of the player but neither did i with Benteke and he ain't turned out too bad ;) We could do with a physical presence to allow the others like Bannan Westwood Ireland etc further forward, it would be like having Crouch as a midfielder by the sounds of things if we get him lol

Cliveman you do know Benteke is 6.3ft, 6.4ft depending on what site you visit :) so it would be a closer match to him, Crouch is like 6.7ft

Yeah but all these sites reckon that Benteke is only 21 aswell and that's got to be bull....

Your right Villan444.... Tekkers was 22 a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully we'll have a good go at getting him. I believe this guy could do a real job for us.

George Curtis - Now there was a true man mountain. All other 'man mountains' seem to turn into mere steep hills when compared alongside George. Scored on his debut too at Swindon Town, Boxing Day, 1969. Might you, Christian certainly runs him close in the man mountain stakes. Christian is considerably more naturally talented too.
