WM Auction For Cure Leukaemia

Radio WM are auctioning off a host of football related items/packages for the charity Cure Leukaemia.

Between 6-8pm on December 19th Paul Franks will be hosting the auction and former players from Villa, Wolves, Walsall, the blue lot and WBA will be on the lines taking the bids from callers.

Of interest to sensibly minded Vital Villans are the following auctions:

LOT 2 - Michelin Star Birmingham Chef and Cure Leukaemia Patron Glynn Purnell`s cocktail class at Ginger`s Bar. A master class with mixologist and Glynn, followed by cocktail sampling. The cocktail you create and name on the night will then be put on the menu at Ginger`s Bar for all to try!

Followed by complimentary tickets for a match with lunch and drinks for two in the Jaguar Club. (Match will be a Domestic County Championship or CB40 match). Plus a Warwickshire County Cricket Club shirt and bat signed by the team who won the Country Championship in 2004.

LOT 5 - Executive Jet Trip for two worth 500. Go on a special 'search for Santa` on a plane used by HM The Queen, pop star Jessie-J and Coldplay! The leather seated executive jet will take you on a tour across the UK, flying low enough to take in beautiful scenery all in a search for Santa. Food included and will need be able to travel on Thursday 20th December 2012.

LOT 7 - The Amplify Air package to see Rod Stewart at the LG Arena on Thursday 20th June 2013. The two tickets package worth 350 include seats on the VIP showdeck, complimentary parking adjacent to the Arena and private hospitality entrance. Champagne reception, pre show 'gastro grill` 4 course fine dining experience, complimentary bar, access to the restaurant pre show, interval and post show, hostess service to the table and a complimentary bar throughout the show.

LOT 8 - VIP weekend break in Birmingham for two worth 450 courtesy of Broad Street Manager Mike Olly. Cinema tickets for a film of your choice followed by meal and drinks on Broad Street, evening entertainment at the theatre and an overnight hotel stay with breakfast at a top Birmingham hotel.

LOT 9 - Aston Villa VIP package. Two tickets to an Aston Villa match of your choice this season. A behind the scenes tour prior to the game, watch the players warm up from a pitch side position, plus hospitality and the opportunity to see the manager`s post-match press conference.

LOT 10 - Go behind the scenes with the BBC Sport team. Become a BBC WM commentator for the day for your local team and see exactly how it works behind the scenes. You`ll spend the day with one of BBC WM Sports team, preparing for a match, commentating with them in the commentary box and interviewing players and managers after the game. As well as this you`ll have the chance to meet BBC Midlands Today presenter Nick Owen, the TV sports team and watch the 6.30pm programme go out live from the gallery.

It's for a very good cause, but I doubt anyone wants a Birmingham football, to be a guest at a Wolves training session or a visit to the Jasper Carrot Suite. If that lot doesn't tempt you, I doubt a signed Boingers shirt would excite you either!
