It's All About Villa, Not Me

It's All About Villa, Not Me

Paul Lambert has again said tonight's game has nothing to do with him, all he wants to see is us take the game to Norwich and progress in the cup.

Speaking to the Official Site ahead of the game Lambert again said of the encounter and Cup progression:

'That is the game, that is why everybody plays it and that is why everyone wants to come and watch it. It's a tough game but we are playing well enough to go and win. We are going there and it has got to finish on the night so we've got to try and get through. We are more than capable of getting through, we will go down there and play attacking football.'

Ugo Ehiogu somehow got himself quoted in the article, with him hoping that the Cup will be a boost for us and continue to help play us into a winning run:

'One of these games can give you a lift for the rest of the season. Hopefully if Villa can win and then they can start putting a few league results together, it might provide a bit of impetus for a push after Christmas so they can be looking upwards.'

I'm confident about tonight for some reason, have been all week. Hopefully the boys will live up to my optimism and we can have fun with a Semi next :-)
