Injury Update - N'Zogbia Returns

Charles N'Zogbia has returned to training ahead of the game against Stoke, but Ron Vlaar and Enda Stevens remain as doubts for the encounter.

Charlie boy has been out with a knee injury since the end of October, but returned to full training on Thursday so he is in with a chance of figuring this weekend.

Ron Vlaar is still struggling with his calf problem, and Stevens still has issues with his ankle.

Joe Bennett is definitely out of the encounter, but it's expected he'll return to training some point next week.

The late great Bobby Robson is quoted as saying that N'Zogbia was one of the most naturally talented players he had ever worked with. Craig Bellamy when asked of all the Citeh superstars who was the most impressive in traning, replied'Stephen Ireland'. . If only PL could unlock and use all of that obvious ablility... If ony...If only

in the run around aimlessly each man for himself forward three that we have at the moment Nzogbia should be more effective than Weiman

I like Charlie. Bit of flair. Just wish he'd start producing. Cant help feeling though that his Villa Park days are numbered.

Just how long does Zoggy need? Yes, he has flair, so why not use it? TBH, I think he's been another total waste of money, however, I did't think that when we signed

Ireland and N'Zogbia its clear they have talent you can see it in flashes they can do things the top level guys do but whats the problem? so many issues I personally think its partly to do with a lack of quality around them... Same goes for Gabby... We have three players with plenty of ability but they seem to lack the confidence and concentration to do it consistently... I believe if we get in a couple of dangerous players in January and become a bigger threat going forward with these new guys, we will soon find that Gabby, Ireland and Nzog will perform better because teams wont be able to focus solely on limited threats we currently possess... I guess time will tell but if we had a midfield trio with Westwood, Ireland and Threat X then teams would not be able to double team Ireland...

Remember we bought Downing for 12 mill and sold him for 20m. The difference we spent on Zog, so if he ever does come good he will be excellent vfm.

Just in time for the shop window if we get 6m it will be a steal N'zogbia is just another player that is here for the money no passion from him at all for the cause. he would probably turn it on in his final year of his contract just to get a new deal. I hate players like that!!

LOL AVB+B, is the aimless threesome not as good as the goalhanging Bencht with no service and the grand total of 3 touches a game. Thankfully management is left to people like PL who know what they're talking about.

CDX, Nzo is lazy and this is crazy, he's not just landed here, he's had enough time...bye bye and cut losses for better disciplined in Jan window I say.

Got to agree Nzobia has had his chance so has Ireland add them to the list with Dunne,Hutton and Warnock. I may upset others by saying for me Bannan,Delph,Albrighton & Delfonso are not going to make it at this level its just my opinion. Of PLs signings I think KEA is the only one I dont rate.
