Senegal International Striker Linked To Villa

Senegal International Striker Linked To Villa

Just a brief one this morning. Talksport say that Villa are after former Man Utd striker Mame Biram Diouf. The 24-year-old Senegal international flopped at Man Utd in 2009 but is apparently doing well in the Bundesliga for Hannover. He has 10 goals in 20 games for them.

NO! He's gash. On another note - old news, but that Mirror article on Darren Bent and Harry Redknapp is a load of nonsense. It was from a TalkSport interview and they asked him the question as a 'joke' saying it would never happen. I think he was just being diplomatic.

Worrying lack of creative midfielders we're being linked to . Even the one we have been linked to is pretty much a striker & is allergic to grass apparently

We are in desperate need of a midfield playmaker and midfield ball-winner

We need a Left Winger too Griff... Ballwinner shouldnt be a priority we have enough defensive guys as it is...

Get Downing back for £5m. Downing crossed + CB20 = goals.

CDX_EIRE problem with our midfield is they wouldn't make a normal sized bloke standing on each others shoulders so we get muscled out of midfield you're right about a left winger and i also think onlyteaminthemidlands is too.......although that sticks in the throat a bit!

Downing is too fat and slow to cross these days. Diouf has got to be better than Bent. Sign him up.

Herdy's back in training I see. We need him back in CM for a bit of steel.
