Players Will Be Fired Up For QPR

Players Will Be Fired Up For QPR

Paul Lambert has said that although QPR will be on a high following the arrival of Harry Redknapp, we'll be more than up for the game.

Speaking to the Official Site ahead of this weekends game, Lambert said the players would be hugely up for the game so we can build on the Reading victory and pull ourselves a touch further away from the bottom three.

The incentive is certainly their for the boys this weekend, our first back to back wins of the season would be a hell of a boost.

'We go into the game with plenty of optimism, but it will be a different game to the Reading match. Everyone knows how good a manager Harry is and he can really get the players going, but we go down there with plenty of confidence which is great.'

It's only Arry's second game, we should be able to chuck him a bung in a brown envelope in the tunnel ;) UTV

We really need to be up for it. Harry has stuck his neck on the line by openly declaring in today's Daily Mail that QPR will win. He is going to lose credibility if they don't. Counter attacking could suit us, but we musn't lie too deep, which I thought we did on Tuesday night. We need to get in their faces from the KO and should try to niggle and upset the psychos in their team, like Cisse, Tarrant et al. Would honestly like to see Bent play at some stage. A win would be terrific and take us into mid-table, but given the special circumstances of the game, would be happy with a draw.

Iv no worries if Vlaar plays and playing away from home takes all the pressure off us and puts it on them as does him saying they will win... We should be able to go there and play without pressure which should give us some freedom but this is Villa and they have a knack of disappointing... UTV

Yeah, hopefully Concrete will be fit. Fingers crossed anyway.
