Err... yummy... nothing else needs saying: VMF Newsletter: November

Well, it is a quiet news day and a thread in Vital Villa`s forum has at least kicked off some passion. So I might as well link to it! He`sbiggerthanyouandme posted Will we just stand by and let this club sink? See: Why Are Fellow Villans Just Standing By?

Hand in hand... As Villa sank into the bottom-three and took on the look of something strange in the toilet bowl which might or might not flush, despair ran through the Villa ranks, as the reality dawned, at the true predicament of a club which has learnt to take its Premiership status for granted, since relegation was an all too familiar experience in the bad old 1980s. See: Something For The Weekend (403)

Alan Hutton has joined Nottingham Forest on an emergency loan deal until January 1. The 27 year old certainly hasn't been in Paul Lambert plans, but fair play he hasn't kicked up a fuss or ran to the press, so hopefully this is a precursor to a permanent move for him and I find myself wishing him well.

Ron Vlaar has been talking to Mat Kendrick at www.birminghammail.co.uk. The main thing of interest is that the players recognise how great the fans have been this season and what a role we all have to play during these tough times. The Villa captain said: The Villa Team Appreciate The Fantastic Fans

Villa boss Paul Lambert has said that Villa fans have been 'brilliant` with him since joining the Lions but also asks for patience as Villa sit in the bottom three. He said on Sky Sports that the bottom three is not where, he, the club or the fans want to be, adding: Lambert Asks Brilliant Fans For Time

According to Talksport Villa are in a tussle with Fiorentina for France U21 left-back Massadio Haidara. See: France U21 Left Back Linked To AVFC

Lawro has predicted a 2-0 loss to Villa on BBC Sport. What says Mystic Mug? See: Mystic Mug v Lawro. Villa At Home v Arsenal
