'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Brett - Aussie Player Of The Year

Brett Holman has been named Australian Footballer Of The Year by their football federation.

Our 28 year old running man accepted the award via a video link in the ceremony in Sydney earlier this week, and he was obviously pleased to accept the honour.

'It has been a long, hard road and battle, but I've achieved some great things in 2012. It's a great honour.'

It hasn't been a bad year for Holman all round, and I'm sure being our Player of the Month in September certainly played a part in the award.

Let's hope there's more to come from him!
