Stan On Charity Match
Stiliyan Petrov spoke to AVTV following the charity match last weekend and he again thanked everyone for the support he has been given.
Speaking to the Official Site Stan admitted it was a very emotional day for him and he was absolutely chuffed with the turn out.
'It was great and the turnout was just unbelievable. I was very emotional, to see so many people turnout for this game was just great. The fans have been supportive from the start to the present day. Even now - it's been eight months of treatment - they still support me. I still get cards, messages, I get everything to support me through this, it's been great!'
As for the game which Stan's side won 7-6, he added.
'It was two good sides! It was very exciting, both teams worked very hard, I was impressed.'

Managed to speak to the great man after the game. It is obvious how hard this battle is for him. I have seen mention by a couple of people that maybe the 19th minute has run its course. Absolutely no way. If anything it shoud be ramped up even more.
