We face off against Manchester City for the second time already this season this weekend, so over to Vital City I go again. With thanks To Lorna Silva. See: An Interview With A Man City Fan

A little bit of press transfer talk, nothing earth shattering but a young decent looking keeper linked: AVFC Press Transfer Talk

BBC Pundit Lawro, has predicted on BBC Sport a 3-0 loss to Villa away to Manchester City. Lawro, leading Mystic Mug 6-3 on correct predictions, says he felt sorry for Villa against United last week, however on the upcoming Manchester game: Mystic Mug v Lawro .. Man City v Villa

Well, this is very important. This sort of journalism causes offense, upset and anger. Christian Benteke has been quoted in the press today saying he loves Arsenal, wants to move from Villa, didn`t even realise we weren`t a London club etc. I`m not going to link to the articles, I`m just not prepared to give them any page impressions at all. Read what they say he said. NO PLAYER would say that, NO PLAYER would dare. See: Christian Benteke DID NOT Disrespect Villa

Just a follow up to Christian Benteke DID NOT Disrespect Villa. Paul Lambert has now been quoted on the official site saying he won`t lose any sleep over this and that he the player has been 'misrepresented`. 'I wouldn't put too much credence into it - things can be misconstrued. I think it's naughty what has been done. The big guy is more than happy here. He's playing really well and he's happy the way he is.' See: Lambert On Benteke 'Quotes' & Some Actual Quotes

Folks of Vital! I've done a few articles on Pete Gough who was set to run the New York Marathon to raise money for Cure Leukaemia. #19 I've just had the following communication about it, no point me re-writing it as it is self explanatory: NY Marathon Off - So Gough To Run Round Villa Park

Paul Brown: Brad Guzan says it's 'really exciting' to hear his name read out by manager Paul Lambert before each Barclays Premier League match. Guzan has been an ever-present in the claret and blue top-flight line-up since the Newcastle match two months ago. See: www.avfc.co.uk

Courtney Cameron is set for his first taste of senior football after joining Rotherham United on a youth loan until January 5. Cameron will be looking to help the Millers build on a solid start to their League Two campaign during his temporary stay at the New York Stadium. See: www.avfc.co.uk

Paul Brown: Speed demon Gabby Agbonlahor has been backed to cause Man City all kinds of problems on Saturday with his stunning pace. Tony Daley is a big fan of star striker Agbonlahor and thinks he can shine once again at the Etihad Stadium. See: www.avfc.co.uk

Thought for the day: 'I woke up this morning at 8 o'clock and could smell something was wrong. I got downstairs and found the wife face down on the kitchen floor, not breathing!. I panicked. I didn`t know what to do……… Then I remembered, Wetherspoons serve breakfast until 11.30...'
