Ray Graydon has been kind enough to do an interview for www.walsall.vitalfootball.co.uk. What a great coup. The Villa question is as below, please visit Vital Walsall and read the whole interview, makes for nice reading! See: Ray Graydon - His Time At Villa

Great match v Man Utd. Obviously there were a couple of fan issues that slightly tarnished it though. It is however, I think, important to note the indiscretions were from SOME of the Man Utd fans, not ALL. The first embarrassment to their Club (and country) was not respecting the minutes silence in honour of our fallen heroes and current forces, tasteless and classless and I am quite sure an awful lot of Utd fans would agree. Another game, another pundit opinion and this time, the opinion is a positive one. As many of you who read my guff will know, I hold little ... err, I`m actually not sure what expression I was after there... errm. Ok, I`ll start again, I hate the victim mentality of fans and the 'that pundit hates us` sort of response when Villa (or other teams) are criticised! Pundits, most often ex players or managers, so they do know a little about the game, are there to analyse and say what they see. We might not always like it but quite often they are spot on. Andreas Weimann has said losing to Man U was like we had 'lost a cup final'. Speaking to the Official Site about the disappointment he felt following the loss of a 2-0 lead, and then neatly wrapped up in some refereeing errors, a final 3-2 loss, Weimann said: Weimann - It Was Like A Cup Final Loss

Villa U21s game at Newcastle has been switched. The clash was originally due to be played on Monday December 3. However, it will now be played at Whitley Bay on Tuesday December 4, with a 7pm kick-off.

Exclusive by Rob Bishop: He's looking forward to the awesome atmosphere as Villa take on Manchester City this weekend - but Christian Benteke aims to end up in a world of his own. From the age of five, the Belgium international has enjoyed nothing better than scoring goals and setting up chances for team-mates. As he prepares for the City clash, the 21-year-old marksman eloquently describes just how he feels when he hits the target. Full article: www.avfc.co.uk

Dan Harrison: Andreas Weimann has vowed to carry on taking his chances - after admitting he is relishing his new role as Villa's wide boy. Although the Austrian hotshot is a central striker by trade, his is flourishing on the right hand side of a four-man attack under new boss Paul Lambert. See: www.avfc.co.uk

Dan Harrison: Stephen Ireland has welcomed Villa's 'young and hungry' policy - and has vowed to pass on his experience to the club's emerging stars. The average age of Paul Lambert's starting XI in Saturday's 3-2 defeat to Manchester United was under 24, but the boys in claret and blue looked far from overawed against the Red Devils.
