Mystic Mug v Lawro .. Villa v Man Utd Predictions

Sadly Lawro and Mystic Mug agree on this one, unless we get the happiest surprise in many a long year, the result of Villa v Man Utd is a bit of a no brainer.

Lawro has predicted 2-0 to United and told BBC Sport that there is nothing at all wrong with the effort from our players, just their quality. Can`t argue with that at all, they are putting in the effort and hopefully at some stage they get up to speed Premiership wise.

Lawro continued, 'If you look at their team, they look like a team that has come up from the Championship. In a way, they have, because the players they have signed from lower division sides are the equivalent of that." Adding, "Villa are gambling on staying up this year, but that is a big gamble and I just cannot see them getting anything out of this game."

Mystic Mug has tried to be positive this season and is now trailing Lawro 5-2 because of that. He has given up on that tactic and says 3-0 to Man Utd.

As I said at the beginning of the week, 3 or 4 nil to Manure and we'll probably finish with 10 men........

3-2 to Manure ..... can see Gabby scoring and Benteke causing problems for their creaking defence. The other end is Van Persie/Rooney so they will score more. Hope its a good game and we put in a shift like we did against Newcastle and Spurs. Hope Ashley Young gets sent off for diving lmao. UTV

Hopefully Concrete is already familiar with how Van Persie plays from Holland duty - no Nani is good news esp if Bennett is playing. Christian and Gabriel could give them some problems too..mlord. And I would sacrifice a midfielder to man mark Rooney (why does no-one man mark any more, its so entertaining).

I remember when we won away at old trafford under o'neil. I was in the pub watching & it was one of the most beautiful days ever! I'm not giving up hope because the lads shouldn't be under pressure to get any result from this one, so i'll say a gutsy 1-1 draw!

2-1 to manure, with Villa to score first and manure to score 2 in the last 10 mins.

last time we won the LC was against Leeds (3-0). The last but one we messed up their only real chance ever to do the famed treble - although i have to say these days that achievement looks more likely than ever before for either Dinamo Kensington or Real Salford.

Can you imagine what winning would do to the confidence of the lads? even a good battling draw would do wonders. I just hope they dont bend us over and leave us sore :o No body wants to see that happen.........

I reckon Lowton will be able to handle Young, and if he gets passed him Vlaar will sort him out, Roonie will spend most of his time trying to provide for chicoreeetooooo Hernaaanddeeeez what ever he wants to call himself and RVP will come on in the second half and get a hattrick, cancelling out the one Benteke scored in the first half. You heard it here first!
