I've raved on about Westwood since he came, friends at Crewe (at board level might I add not just fans) rated him very very highly and were surprised no other Premier League teams had come in for him sooner. He will become a top top player in time. UTV

Can't say fairer than that astonmilan. Fingers crossed.

No doubt Westwood had a good game but I honestly thought Bannan was better. Ireland did some good things but also gave the ball away too much.

Westwood needed to impress which he duly did. I am sure PL is aware of Villa's lack in midfield and unless someone solves that problem, he will need to shop come the transfer window. Celtic's Wanyama, anyone?
