Villa Linked With Saint-Etienne Striker

The Sunday People had a link for Villa yesterday.

I picked up on it in The Mirror.

They linked us with a replacement for Darren Bent! And on it goes!

They say Villa are looking at 23-year-old Saint-Etienne striker Pierre Aubameyang.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pierre-Emerick_Aubameyang

He has 22 goals in 56 games for St Etienne.

I'd rather keep Bent
macca1087
I don't understand why we are even looking at strikers when we have the immense 1 in 10, in League 2, Jordan Bowery just waiting to take the Prem by storm! He might get 1 in 20 in the Prem!!! lol
DeanoVilla
Id rather a few MFs
CDX_EIRE
One Mike Field is enough thanks CDX ;o)
Villan Of The North
beat me to it Villan, can you imagine more MF's than the one?! Gulp!
LOL Deano, ouch!

Do agree, think it is midfield/supply where the problem is.
The Fear
Like macca 1087 says would rather keep Bent providing we can find a decent playmaker to supply him which is not easy.Lets hope aston milan is right about Bowery Deano he reckons the lad will supprise us and could be a gem.
Merlin128777
I thought he'd missed the "IL"out......Lol
Pride of Lions
I don't think DB9 fits into the style PL is aiming to play. A bit like Carroll at Liverool. This guy looks goodand we could geta surplus on the deal too.
Pride of Lions
Agreed Pride, BUT will we get the surplus to spend or will Randy pocket it??
Villan444
We need midfielders
Madirish
I would rather we went for Austin who seems o score every week for Burnley! If we go abroad for a player I want them to be that creative spark. A european taent a little like Modric or Kranjcar before they were picked up
Chelt Villan
Cheeky!
mike_field
He is a great player, better than Bent.
