Villa Away To Norwich In League Cup

Villa have been drawn away to Norwich City in the quarter finals of the Capital One Cup.

Had to be didn't it? Not sure Lambert will relish a return unless, of course, we step it up a bit and bring home the win!

Leeds take on Chelsea, Swansea have a home game v Middlesbrough and Bradford will look forward to a visit from Arsenal.

I had this down as the Final, but knocking them out in the quarters will do. If we can turn over Citeh we can turn over Norwich. Arsenal in the semi final and Cheslski in the final. We should be coming into a run of form as the quarters are played so this is our year. I can so feel a trip to Wembley on the cards and Stan going up to lift the Cup.

like your style VOTH A home draw is what we needed no luck. Just better hope we don't get Down as ref in any of those games you're suggesting...!

That would fantastic VOTH the least Petrov deserves he should have won one with us by now... Even if he cant play a nice little bit of publicity would get more people behind us 'Aston Villa announce Stan Petrov will lift the trophy on final day'... **I need to stop getting ahead of myself Im far to optimistic these days...

I like you train of thought CDX_EIRE...that would be ideal.

Good to see that VOTH has survived his physical assertions with some strength left in him! Seriously, why can't we beat Norwich? They are certainly no better than we are and I agree with VOTH's line of thinking that the squad will gradually improve as they become used to playing together and against PL teams. The stat that showed Villa would be fifth if games ended at half time was a telling one. It shows that we have too many players unused to PL football over 90 minutes. That will change.

I go in to every game thinking we can win. I'm a Villa fan. 'Fan' is short for 'fanatic'. If I want in with a logical appraisal of our chances I'd be a Villa log. Not a fanatic.

Lets be real here, if we all start even doubting we can beat Norwich away from home then we really are losing faith in Villa, cmon we will beat these and any other fecker that tries to get in the way of us lifting that cup for us and Stan! UTV!
