The Hits Just Keep On Coming - N'Zogbia Injured

It looks like Charles N'Zogbia will be out injured for the next three weeks after damaging his knee ligaments during training.

Love, loathe, and opinions on his performances since joining the club, he should be a big player for us, so with injuries biting hard now, the last thing we need is for further experienced players to end up on a sicknote.

If Zoggy is out for that long, he will miss the games against Swindon, Sunderland and Manchester United.

Speaking to the press following the Norwich game, Paul Lambert said:

'Charles N'Zogbia hurt his knee in training on Thursday and we think he'll be out for a few weeks.'

With our current list sitting as Richard Dunne, Ciaran Clark, Nathan Baker, Gary Gardner and the now suspended Joe Bennett, and the fact Lambert chose not to disclose Zoggy's injury ahead of the game...some will be worrying about the other players who didn't make today's bench.

Probably a bonus. The worst player ive ever seen in the flesh, and i've seen Gary Doherty.

Would we have noticed if Lambert hadn't said anything?

Massive loss this. This will surely have an overall effect on weight distribution on the bench. What will we do.
Villa_Grizzly
No great loss is it?

Zoggy has shown signs of recovery of late, against Fulham he completed more successful dribbles in 20 mins than the rest of the squad in the entire game. Whilst he is yet to justify anywhere near the money we paid for him, it is not for the want of trying on his behalf. If we can get a confident Zoggy playing again, he could save our season. Albrighton for me is a shadow of the player that first burst onto the scene, he is a great deliverer of the ball but is far too predictable, he runs into blind alleys and is a "kick and rusher ".

You're right Ingenious. At his best, he could certainly turn things around. Sadly, we've not seen his best yet, and perhaps never will.

were going down this season sadly.

N'Zogbia being injured will have no bearing on our performances or results. He has shown precious little form since he signed so we can't use his absence as an excuse when we play poorly. It has about as much relevance as Hutton or Warnock being injured.
