'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Luck & Pre Norwich Player Fluff

Brett Holman, Gabby Agbonlahor and Ron Vlaar are this weeks' interview cheerleaders to whip the fans into a frenzy ahead of the Norwich game.

Speaking to the Official Site firstly, Brett Holman said that he believed Villa would be a 'force to be reckoned with' once the team gel properly and everybody treats our new tactics like second nature:

'I think it will be a cracker of a game, we've not been playing badly, we have just been unlucky in my opinion. It will be exciting times ahead, we are a tight knot group and the atmosphere in the dressing room is fantastic, even though results haven't gone our way. We are working hard to get better. Once it does click for us we will be a force to be reckoned with.'

It was Gabby Agbonlahor's turn next on the Official Site and he talked Fulham and fans:

'As a team we know that we are playing good football and doing the right things, we're all in it together and we're determined to push on. We were obviously disappointed against Fulham, we didn't get the result I felt we deserved, but in football if you keep playing the right stuff you do get the rewards. If you look at West Brom, the fans stayed with us, they were on our side. They drove us to get an equiliser, they pushed us on and that's exactly what we did. If that sort of support continues, I'm confident we'll get the results.'

Finally Roncrete Vlaar called for the fans to yell and scream and turn Villa Park into a cauldron of noise this weekend:

'The fans have been brilliant and that is important for us. They can see that we are having a difficult time but on Saturday it's another game which starts at 0-0 and they can play their part. We need it and they can see that we need it.'

Vlaar also rightly points out that it's also up to the players to give the fans something to get behind:

'We will try to play the best we can, that will give the fans the right signals. It makes it easier for them to cheer us on if they see we are trying our best.'

And there you have it...
