'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Verity Wants U19's To Kick It Up A Level

Sean Verity has said that the players must learn the lessons from last month's Celtic tie in the NextGen and show an improvement on our second half performance.

Villa did win the home clash 2-1 putting us within a shot of qualifying, but the second half performance was certainly not the lads at their best, so he's looking for a reaction in tonight's match at Firhill Stadium (KO - 7pm).

'We are in a miles better position than when we started against Celtic. We won the game, but plenty of learning needed to go on. A positive result was always the most important thing, but the second half was the opposite of very good. They are young lads but they need to learn that you can't just play for 45 minutes.'

Hopefully we'll know the team shortly, and we can again pick up three points.
