Simone Farina has been appointed as a community coach at Aston Villa FC... Community Coach Role For Simone Farina (Video)

Such a strange signing Charles N'Zogbia has turned out to be. Must admit, I thought he wasn`t a bad replacement for Downing who as you know, left for Liverpool and has done so well since he played his face up for a move. I digress.. See: Charles N'Zogbia... Shocking Stats!

www.bbc.co.uk has published the BBC Sport Price of Football Survey for 2012. It covers the average cost to attend games for 166 clubs in the 10 divisions across British football. It also rates the price of tea and pies!!!! Villa, as usual, come out well for being amongst the cheapest season ticket wise, in fact cheaper than many lower league clubs. Jordan Bowery has said it's up to him to prove he deserves a shot at the club, even though Paul Lambert has faith that he can compete at this level. Speaking to the Official Site Bowery said everything you'd expect him to following his rise from the lower leagues, praising the clubs' history, heritage and facilities and saying it was the perfect place for him to develop further especially as everybody at the club had made it easy for him to adjust, and fit right in, but also tellingly given Paul's hopes for young and hungry players he also said: Bowery Aims To Take His Chance

By Paul Brown: Fabian Delph has paid tribute to his midfield partner Karim El Ahmadi, saying his will to win is 'frightening.' Delph says it's a pleasure to play alongside the former Feyenoord star, who's renowned for his silky-smooth skills in the middle of the park. But Delph insists it's El Ahmadi's hunger that's impressed him most of all. See: www.avfc.co.uk

Fabian Delph said: 'The fans are really important, they're a big part of our identity." Too right! I like him! lol Full quotes: Delph Acknowledges Fan Contribution

Thought for the day: 'A woman was telling her friend, 'A man went into a pet shop and asked the assistant if they had any dogs going cheap?" He replied, 'Sorry sir all ours go woof.'
