Ouch, Touché Villa!
Ok, so we had the silly comment from the Rangers chairman recently. Frankly I don`t care what he thinks, they have enough problems of their own at the moment (and to be fair, I have no truck whatsoever with their fan base, which is massive and is proving to be loyal even in these dark days for their club)
That aside, sometimes I just love the odd thing that comes out of Villa...
I don`t care what the intention of the statement Villa made was, it made me laugh!!!

I`m not sure I`d have given the guy the time of day to be honest but I guess Villa needed to say something and this one line just made me laugh out loud!
We are hoping that going forward Green will retreat to his day job and leave the cutting remarks for those standing on somewhat stronger footing.

Yup, we need adverts to survive, times have been awful, the recession helped kill advertising, it is starting to come back to life and we are going to have to earn some of the money lost over the last tortuous years back! I'm however not sure re: the lower slider one, I'll experiment and see what it brings in but not sure I like it unless it pays a bomb!

I echo that Mr Fear, I run an advertising firm - you know when a recession is on the way out, when people spend more on advertising again. Let's hope it contines.

(cheers windy/metal. It is a fine line we know, looking at some of the paper sites, they are smothered in adverts and we too now have a fair few, obviously we don't want to put users off, but also do need to try to reciup some of the lost rev from the bad times. Think the only one I'm really unsure of is the slider at the bottom, if it doesn't dazzle us £ wise, it will go! lol)
