Fair enuff i luv VP all thise midweek games when i was a red blooded teenager on my own in the frosty freezing weather watching Ashely Ward score a header and Barnsley beat us 1-0 at VP arrrr the memeries lol ...Fear my old mucka can you please ask PF or someone at Villa to paint the outside wall of the North Stand i stood outside the club shop yesterday and said to the misses for years i have wanted that painted or cleaned or something i mean it looks really shabby imo old concrete moldy stuff on it?
15/10/2012 12:37:00
I dont see why seeing as we dont sell out the stadium and have planning for improvments for up to 55,000... Bit silly to say we should leave...
15/10/2012 12:57:00
You know something I just read the arguements very persuaive but it wont happen unless we get Europe in the next three years and hit 95%+ attendance for two seasons running with at least 10-15 sell out games... Im just wondering is the area they are talking about near the Mass House Plaza apartments? and is it that piece of land across from the Thinktank? If so I might have to move back to Bham and get my old apartment back :)

Pretty shocked the yes votes are so high.
the fear

Why do people think we need to leave?! To do so would be madness.
15/10/2012 18:47:00
So easy to get to from most places. Most London clubs take nearly an hour just to get just from the M25!! Location is not the problem. A couple more drinking holes pre match would solve things and enable people to get into the area earlier.

Can't believe we agree on something 444! :] I would feel the heart would be ripped out of the club if we left, love everything about going there. I drive from London to everygame and the drive in is fine why move???????
15/10/2012 23:16:00
I don't want us to leave VP however I have to agree that the transport especially away from the ground afterwards is appalling. I live 10-15 mins drive from VP. I've tried to use public transport to get home and I always end up walking for miles to catch a bus which then just sits in traffic for hours anyway. I now drive but because of congestion park a good 10-15 minutes walk away from the ground and then run after the game to get to my car and avoid the traffic. I never leave before the final whistle though. Even last season!! Lol

why move, it would cost a lot of funds that could be injected straight into the squad. Improve the squad then we will sell out, that will be the time to move :-)
