Gabby On Our Youngsters

Gabby Agbonlahor has waxed lyrical about the way our new young signings have settled into the club and how they approach training and games.

Speaking to the Official Site during our international break, the striker said of our new recruits:

'They haven't looked out of place whatsoever. I think you can say that the new boys lack experience, but they are going to get that. the more games they play they will learn and get better and I think that is showing already. It's good from the gaffer's point of view that he has faith in these players, especially in training people have done really well.'

It's a bit over the top to say they haven't looked out of place at all, as even the younger regulars have had their moments, but for the most part I think Gabby is right in that we can see improvements from them with every game they are playing, but that also applies to the more established players changing to Lambert's style of play.

Plenty of improvements still to be made and that's obvious to everybody regardless of where you sit on the panic 'o' meter. If we can see good further improvement over the next couple of months, get some good results behind us and some points on the board, hopefully we'll enter the New Year with more optimism around the place, even if obviously we aren't going to be attacking for European places this campaign.
