No Worries On Holman - Lambert

Paul Lambert has said he he's got no worries that Brett Holman won't soon be a regular in our scoring charts.

Speaking to the Official Site about our Player of September, Lambert said:

'He's been unlucky not to score. Ben Foster's two saves in the West Brom game were unbelievable, but Brett's playing really well at this time, he's not shy to have a shot and it's important we share the goals around. Brett's all round game is good at the minute, I'm really happy with the way he's playing. Villa are fortunate to have him.'

Holman's quickly becoming a fan favourite with his effort and energy on the pitch, and if he can just tighten up some of his passes, and put a few chances away he's surely only going to grow in confidence and becoming a really key player for us in years ahead.

I think that statement says alot about Lambos attitute towards Bent. " Its important we share the goals around "
GibboVilla
actually gibbo, from how ive seen bent play this season, he seems to pass the ball on to another person instead of taking a shot. benteke on the other hand, is selfish, which i do not mind at all because weve been lacking that kind of striker for sometime!
