Acorns Wins Digital Award
As many fans will know Acorns were in the running for the 'Best Use of Mobile Fundraising' award in the 2012 Digital Fundraising Awards...and guess what...they won!
The text donation campaign with Paul McGrath raised £7500 for the charity, and this Award will be a further boost to their profile.
Elinor Eustace, corporate partnerships manager for Acorns told the Official Site:
'We're really pleased to have won this Digital Fundraising Award, following our text campaign with Villa. The fans responded in an amazing way and the money raised was enough to fund a ten bed hospice, providing care and support for local life limited children, for a day. Thanks to all our supporters for responding again by voting for us.'
