Brett Holman Reacts To Vital Villa Player Of Sept

I`ve finally stopped being so lazy with the man of the match and player of the month polls. We get a fantastic traffic here so we should herald things a little more!

Now each month when we do the player of the month we have agreed to let the media department know at Villa Park who will tell the player.

Silly for us to vote in praise of a player and for them not to know isn`t it?!

And the nice thing, the club have agreed to send us a quick quote from the player each month.

Our last player of the month was Brett Holman with a pretty incredible 74%. See: Double Delight For Holman

Brett said, when told:

"I am happy that the fans have reacted so well to me so quickly and I am excited to try and keep the performance level up in the upcoming games."

Adding, "The fans have been great and I'm grateful. Hopefully we can push on and get some results for them."

Fans will always love a player that gives as much on the field as our Brett. A few players like this in the team will drag the others along with them and up to speed. Perhaps the only good thing that Eck did (if he can take the credit for him.)

Had a feeling he'd quickly turn into a fans favourite. A few goals from him now and we'll have a right player on our hands.

Effort can be king can't it. Hopefully as he adjusts more to the league as well we'll see even more from him in time, as SJH says, a couple of goals now to top it off and everybody can be well happy. Glad you've been able to do this JF!

We all love someone who reflects our passion for Villa on the pitch. He's had a great start to his Villa career, and long may it continue.

Great signing; great work rate. He is the engine and heart beat of the team at the moment. the guy makes Dirk Kuyt look like a couch potatoe.

It's all been said. Brilliant engine, never stops, few goals during the season will do very nicely thank you. Well deserved IMHO too.
