Albrighton Thankful For Return Reception

Marc Albrighton has praised the fans for the reception he received after returning from injury, and he's hoping the fans have plenty to shout about this season.

Speaking to the Official Site following his involvement in the Albion clash, Albie said it was a phenomenal feeling to make his return in an atmosphere as intense as that, and he hopes the atmosphere will be repeated in every game:

'It has been a frustrating time sitting on the sidelines but it's great to be back out there and to come back into a derby atmosphere was fantastic. The fans were great, the whole stadium made noise and it was great to play in an atmosphere such as that. Hopefully it will continue throughout the season.'

Good reintroduction for Albrighton really, and at least early doors it looks like we've got the Albie of old back. More games, better sharpness and more confidence and fingers crossed he'll really kick on this season and reach his potential.

You're right Mike, with a few more games under his belt, get his sharpness back and it could be good for Albie. I think he did well against Albion, until he began to tire.
