Double Delight For Holman

Double Delight For Holman

Brett Holman must be loving his start to his Villa career, he's the Official Site's Player of the Month, and guess what, that has the Vital Villa seal of approval as well.

Holman's performances against West Brom and Swansea were instrumental in him winning the official vote this month, with him picking up six points for his two man of the match displays and a point each for the Newcastle and Southampton games where he finished third in the vote.

After this vote, it sees Holman propelled to a tied first place in this seasons Terrace Trophy table, where he shares the top spot with fellow new signing Karim El Ahmadi who is also on eight points.

If that wasn't enough, our very own September Player of the Month vote echoes Holman's involvement in recent games.

September Player Of The Month

Brad Guzan - 13%
Ron Vlaar - 2%
Ciaran Clark - 1%
Matthew Lowton - 4%
Karim El Ahmadi - 2%
Barry Bannan - 1%
Brett Holman - 74%
Stephen Ireland - 1%
Gabby Agbonlahor - 1%
Darren Bent - 1%

The only thing McLeish got right during his tenure. I'm sure he would have been played as a sweeper or something though had we not got rid of him!!

Nah Notts - he would have told him to spend the entire match running backwards & forwards between our own goal posts. That way, a small chance of him making a clearence & more chance of a 0-0 draw!! Seriously though, just needs that killer pass / shot & he'll be a legend! :)
