Holman Targets Goals As He Improves

Holman Targets Goals As He Improves

Brett Holman has said that Villa fans still haven't seen the best of him in our shirt yet, and he definitely wants to add goals to his games as he moves forward in his first season in England.

Speaking to the Official Site after impressing fans with his all running displays, Holman knows he can improve further and most certainly can add some goals to his game:

'It could always be better, I could have scored two on Sunday, so it could always be better. You just have to try to do the right things and everybody has to fight hard for their spot. That's my aim, the more games you play, the better.'

It did take some cracking saves from Ben Foster to keep him off the scoresheet, and game on game (along with our own team dips) Holman does seem to be becoming more confident in himself and his own abilities, so I doubt it'll be long before he gets the extra confidence boost from a goal.

Things can only get better, his engine is Milner-esque and with time his link play with the forwards will hopefully blossom
