Ireland Out For A Few Weeks

Ireland Out For A Few Weeks

Paul Lambert has today revealed that Stephen Ireland suffered a broken wrist, not an arm, against Southampton.

Speaking to the Official Site after all the scans had taken place, Lambert said.

'It's not Stephen's arm, it's his wrist. I don't think it's as bad as we thought. Hopefully he'll be back in a few weeks time.'

Given how the Southampton game went to pot after he went off, Lambert no doubt sees this as good news.
