Bent And Bannan Visit Cure Leukaemia *Video*

Bent and Bannan support Villa's Cure Leukaemia donation:

And as this ties in nicely, albeit not directly Villa news. I believe there are just 20 places left to fill:

Don't miss your chance to join Team Cure Leukaemia for the Bupa Birmingham Great Run - registration deadline 21st September

Next month will see thousands of people participating in BUPA`s Great Birmingham Run and Cure Leukaemia is offering would-be participants the chance to run in aid of one Birmingham`s leading charities whilst being a part of a team consisting of a number of household celebrities from around the region.

The half marathon, due to take place on Sunday 21st October, will be the final event in a special awareness week for the charity and we`re looking to encourage as many participants as possible to run in aid of Cure Leukaemia, with the aim of raising 25,000 to fund a much needed Research Nurse for one year.

Already signed up to take on the 13.1 mile run are Free Radio`s Russ Morris, Warwickshire County Cricket Club legend and Cure Leukaemia Patron Dougie Brown, and keen supporter of the charity Blind Dave Heeley, as well as some of our very own research nurses.

Cure Leukaemia will support runners by paying all registration fees as well as providing branded running vests, running packs and a post-race celebratory drink. A minimum sponsorship of 250 is required.

Around 15,000 people took part in the Great Birmingham Run last year and participation next month is predicted to be even higher.

The closing date for registration is 1st October.
To join 'Team Cure Leukaemia` or for more information please contact Tracey Lester on 0121 236 0164 or email tracey@cureleukaemia.co.uk.
