What Have They Been Feeding Matty?
Brett Holman has questioned what the chefs at Bodymoor Heath have been feeding Matthew Lowton after his wondergoal against Swansea.
Speaking to the Official Site after returning from Australian duty, and seeing Lowton discover where the net was, Holman asked:
'What have they been feeding him? Fair play to him, what a great goal that was. It was tremendous and we needed it, a goal like that inspires the team. It will make other players try things and have a go in future games.'
Humour aside, we definitely did need it and gave the team and the fans a huge lift, but Holman is right as he continues in the interview, we are still a work in progress and whilst it's coming together now, we are by no means the finished article.
'You can see that we're working on things in training and it's coming together. You need time to get the team to gel and get used to each other, but we definitely played some nice football in the game.'
