Lambert Stays Coy On Goalkeeper

Paul Lambert has again refused to name who will start between the sticks against Swansea.

Speaking to the Official Site ahead of this weekends encounter, Lambert again choose to keep his own council on who will be starting.

'Nothing is set in stone. I just try and pick a team I think can win a game. It's nothing personal. Brad came in and did exceptionally well. He's in there at the minute, but I'm pretty sure Shay will push him all the way.'

Lambert also has no new injury concerns to contemplate, with Bennett, Herd and Delph all recovered.

Got to be Guzan surely after his Newcastle showing. Will be very surprised if he makes that change.

According to my Google translate (set to Scottish -its in beta) this means: Guzan plays tomorrow, and Given any fixture that occurs on the 12TH OF NEVER AGAIN! And even then only if its a COC game.

No-brainer, Guzan was motm last game, has to start, simples.
Saurat
Yep, I think Guzan will start. But hey, I thought Given would start against Newcastle.

lol, like that translator!
The Fear
Guzan didn't do anything to warrant loosing the jersey so he should keep it imo.
magicmerson
Guzan was exceptional again. I think that number one Jersey has moved across a peg or two in the dressing room.
