Interesting choice. He made two important saves. One of these from the late free kick and I believe most keepers would have savced that particular effort and the close range shot in the first half that hit his trailing leg (he didn't really seem to know much about that one in all fairness). However it seems to indicate that we have been slightly let down in the keeping department for 12 months. The first time we have a keeper who does the simple things well(kicking, throwing, commanding his box, claiming and punching crosses etc) and we vote them motm!!! Personally I thought Vlaar was strong and that Holman and Ireland helped the whole team gel.

It was a close one, I'll give you that. I could of voted for any of three, but went for Guzan as i was a last minute selection and felt my vote was a bit of a "welcome back" too....
