Glad Lichaj has kept his place, he looked good v Tranmere. Disappointed for Baker, thought he was solid. Surprised to see Gabby back, Zoggy on bench is deserved I think.
The Fear
No Delph or Herd on the bench, yet a place for Bowery and Williams? Pleased with the line up but would have liked Baker to get a start next to Vlaar. Weimann to score one today, Benteke and Bowery signings will push him to "keep his place" in the team, plus he is progressing quite nicely for us.

I like the line up

Would have kept Baker alongside Vlaar and put Clarke into the middle instead of Bannan to give us some strength. Other than that I think the line up is a good one. Glad to see Gabi on the bench which indicates that the two week break coming up will be just right to get him back up to speed for when we next play.

Agree with you voth. Thought Baker deserved his place in the starting line up. Oh well, never mind.
Pride of Lions
Heroes today, all of them. To. A. Man.

Clark needed the confidence I guess. Guzan MOTM. Ten seconds of why we should not be selling Gabby Agbonlahor. And its Stephen Ireland's round tonight - all effing night.

Good point. 9 shots on target. It was October last season before we'd had 9 shots on target. With the score at 1 1 and he brings on Nzogbia and Gabi, this shows that PL would rather go for 3 points than settle for 1.

Ireland was brill. Holman was very good and certainly no pushover. Gab linked up nicely. Bent even defended! Weimann very unlucky not to score. Lambert has so many formatioms and strategies and we were more than equal to all their passing and shooting. Took a wonder goal to beat us. And it was a wonderful goal. PLs plan is coming together nicely.

Did I mention how. Good the defece was? Great. And Vlaar was a true leader.

Wow, I thought Lichaj had a poor game against Tranmere Fear! Guess we all watch the same game, but from different anglds eh?!
